The Santa Fe Symphony Orchestra
bringing great music to life®
MEET THE ORCHESTRA!
Founded in 1984, The Santa Fe Symphony Orchestra today includes 65 professional musicians and over 70 choristers—all New Mexico residents. Our musicians have trained at esteemed conservatories such as Juilliard and Northwestern and have performed with globally-recognized orchestras. The Symphony is a bold and successful collaboration between musicians and all who appreciate live performance. Our legacy of musical excellence goes hand-in-hand with our longstanding commitment to providing no-cost cultural outreach programs for the greater Santa Fe community. Renowned as a conductor, violinist, violist, and concertmaster—Guillermo Figueroa is the Principal Conductor of The Santa Fe Symphony Orchestra & Chorus.
ADOPT-A-MUSICIAN
Adopt a member of The Santa Fe Symphony Chorus today! When you Adopt-A-Musician, you honor each instrumentalist and chorister’s exceptional dedication. Your adoption helps sustain high standards of professional support for our tenured orchestra members and outstanding singers. Your participation in our Adopt-A-Musician program includes an invitation to attend a chorus rehearsal and meet your selected singer in person. You will be photographed with your adopted chorister and appear in The Symphony Program Book on the Adopt-A-Musician page. An acknowledgement of your participation will also appear on The Santa Fe Symphony website. Please note that due to COVID-19 restrictions, some benefits have been placed on hold.
