This first SFS Strata concert of the 2023–2024 Season is taking you to Fancy Town! Immerse yourself into a world of enchanting chamber works in the House of Eternal Return at Meow Wolf Santa Fe. Presenting fascinating works by diverse composers, Enchanté features The Santa Fe Symphony Wind Quartet: Laura Dwyer, Principal Flute; Elaine Heltman, Principal Oboe; Lori Lovato, Principal Clarinet; and Stefanie Przybylska, Principal Bassoon.

EXHIBIT ACCESS

Arrive early! Doors open at 5:30 PM. Be transported into fantastic realms in the exhibit and experience unique, immersive art installations with multimedia elements before the concert. Your Enchanté ticket includes entrance to the House of Eternal Return prior to the performance. The SFS Strata series was conceived of in 2019, evoking the layers of musical conversation seen in chamber music. We are thrilled to highlight unique venues such as Meow Wolf Santa Fe and diverse repertoire as an integral part of this series during this exciting 40th Anniversary Season. SFS Strata concerts are non-subscription events.

IMPORTANT: Please leave all prohibited items in your vehicle, including large bags or purses, bulky coats, and other large items. An adult or legal guardian must accompany anyone under 18 and must stay with the child at all times. Laura Dwyer, Flute

Laura Dwyer is member of The Santa Fe Symphony and the Colorado Music Festival Orchestra. She also served as the Principal Flute of the Sarasota Opera Orchestra for seven seasons. Laura performs regularly with the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra, The Palm Beach Opera, the Florida Orchestra, the Phoenix Symphony, the Charleston Symphony and the Hilton Head Symphony. Read more …

Elaine Heltman, Oboe

Principal Oboist, Elaine Heltman, hails from Saddle Brook, NJ, and graduated from Ithaca College School of Music. She has performed with The Santa Fe Symphony, Musica Cammerata Ensemble, and many other chamber ensembles. She played in Albuquerque for many years with the New Mexico Woodwind Quintet and was Principal Oboe with the Chamber Orchestra of Albuquerque. Read more …

Lori Lovato, Clarinet

Principal Clarinetist Lori Lovato is a graduate of Northwestern University and the University of New Mexico, In addition to her role with The Symphony, she performs with New Mexico Philharmonic, San Juan Symphony, Opera Southwest Orchestra and Alter Ego Jazz Trio, and is a founding member of the New Mexico Woodwind Quintet. Read more …

Stefanie Przybylska, Bassoon

In addition to her role with The Symphony, Principal Bassoonist Stefanie Przybylska has has performed with the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival, Music in the Mountains, Chatter Albuquerque, and many more music groups. Before moving to Albuquerque, she freelanced and played with the Chicago Symphony for over a decade. Read more …
