mishka singee santa feThe Symphony’s Development Officer, Feliciana Warren, joined the team with a diverse history in development, more than a decade of communications, marketing, event-planning, management, and fundraising experience, mainly in the nonprofit sector. Feliciana grew up in Los Angeles in the little seaside port town of San Pedro, California. Growing up, her summer family vacations were often spent in Santa Fe, taking in the art, food, and culture, and from those fond memories grew her dream to one day live in Santa Fe. Fast forward to summer of 2018 and Feliciana and her husband finally bought and moved into a home here in our beloved city different, and she is so excited to be a part of the Santa Fe Symphony and to take part in the cultural vibrancy of this special city. She counts herself lucky to have grown up right on the water and to now live in the high desert, getting to experience the best of both worlds. Since a flight to Los Angeles is only one-and-a-half hours, she goes back as frequently as she can for short weekend jaunts to visit family and friends.
Music has always held a special place in Feliciana’s heart. Growing up, her parents would regularly take her to plays, the Hollywood Bowl to see the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and other live performances. At a young age, she started taking flute lessons and played the flute in recitals and at church all the way through college. It is her hope that, now being at The Symphony, she will dust off her flute that is in the back of her closet and start playing again.
When she’s not hard at work for The Symphony, Feliciana likes to hike, travel the nation attending concerts and music festivals (and meet new people who became friends from all areas of the world), visit museums, read and spend time with her husband and two dogs.
When you donate to The Symphony, you become part of a bold, inspiring, and successful collaboration between musicians and you—our audience, supporters, friends, and family. The Symphony thrives because we believe in the beauty, power and value of symphonic and choral music, and because we serve our community by building relationships with the people who live here, the children who learn here, and the businesses large and small that make their homes in Santa Fe. Together we bring great music to life.
Our legacy of musical excellence goes hand-in-hand with our longstanding commitment to providing free cultural outreach to our community. We rely on generous individuals like you for sixty percent of our costs for each performance; ticket sales cover less than forty percent. With your tax-deductible gift you help ensure that The Santa Fe Symphony’s legacy continues. A gift at any level will make a real impact on our programs for this season and beyond. You will enjoy the many benefits of giving, whether you become a member or donate to one of our other programs. We deeply appreciate your dedicated support.
