Mike was born in York, Pennsylvania and began singing in the 4th
grade and continued singing through high school and college. While in high school Mike was a two year member of the All State Chorus. He attended Mt. St Mary’s University and was a lead singer for the men’s Glee Club for his four years. Mike graduated college in 1968 and took a hiatus from singing until 1997, when, at the urging of his wife Barbara, he auditioned for the Nebraska Choral Arts Society under the direction of Z. Randel Stroope and Anthony Trecek-King. After his retirement in November 2012, Mike relocated to Santa Fe he sang with Canticum Novum, under the direction of Ken Knight, the Santa Fe Men’s Camarata, Cantus Spiritus and the Santa Fe Community College Chamber Singers. Mike is currently singing with the Santa Fe Symphony chorus and is Vice president of the chorus council.
