Please consider adopting a musician for yourself or a loved one!
An adoption is for one calendar year and creates a memorable experience for you, a budding musician, or any music lover in your life. Participation in this program helps sustain high standards of professional support for our tenured orchestral members and outstanding choral musicians. What better way to help support great music than by adopting a member of your Santa Fe Symphony Orchestra & Chorus? When you Adopt-A-Musician, you honor each orchestral and choral musician’s exceptional dedication.
Your participation in our Adopt-A-Musician program includes an invitation to attend an orchestral or choral rehearsal and meet your selected musician in person. You have the opportunity to be photographed with your adopted musician. An acknowledgement of your participation will also appear on our website and in the program book.

The Santa Fe Symphony is proud to have earned a Gold Seal of Transparency from Candid! Who are they and why is this important to know? Candid is the company formed after the merger of The Foundation Directory and Guidestar. These two publications joined forces in 2019 and today Candid is the top reference source for funding in the not-for-profit world. Candid tells organizations such as ours who’s funding projects that align with what we’re doing. They also tell foundations and major donors which organizations’ missions and activities best align with their priorities. And our award? It’s a big deal!
