Community Education Program

Music Matters.

Everyone deserves music and we’ve got free tickets!

With your support, we are fostering extraordinary artistic talent and uniting our community with the power of music. The arts are critical to a healthy, multicultural community. Students who play an instrument or study music perform better in school. So we are playing our part!

Free and discounted tickets are offered on a first-come-first-served basis to to students from local schools:

FREE STUDENT TICKETS: These are available for students up to age 22 and one accompanying adult, as space allows. Reservations may be made up to four weeks in advance of each concert for up to three concerts per season. Call the box office at (505) 983-1414 or email symphony@santafesymphony.org to request tickets. Free student tickets are made possible through the gift of a generous donor.

DISCOUNTED STUDENT AND CHILD TICKETS: In the event we have no more complimentary youth tickets available, tickets are half price for children 6 to 14 years of age, and 10 percent off for students ages 15 to 22.

OPEN DRESS REHEARSALS: Available to children under six years old with a parent or guardian. (The Symphony is unable to accommodate children under the age of 6 at concerts.) Please contact The Symphony Box Office if you would like to attend a Lensic dress rehearsal with your child.

Will you consider supporting The Santa Fe Symphony’s community and education programs today? A donation of any size can help us make these programs available to aspiring young orchestral and choral musicians in more communities across New Mexico. Your gift will also support our expansive music education programs—reaching deeper into the community and fostering the extraordinary artistic talent of our future musicians. You can earmark your contribution for a specific community education program, or help support all of our community programs by becoming a Friend of Music Education.
