Choral Scholars Program
Community Education Program
Music Matters.
Do you know a high school student in Santa Fe who loves to sing? Encourage them to sign up for Choral Scholars, our Choral Apprentice Program for advanced high school singers. We offer a limited number of apprentice positions to qualified high school vocalists who want to perform not only with their peers, but with The Santa Fe Symphony Chorus. Students selected into our Choral Scholars program receive dedicated instruction on vocal technique, historic performance practices, how to prepare for an audition, and so much more. Auditions are held at the start of each school year. Rehearsals are held every Tuesday and Thursday at 6 pm. For more information about this elite vocal ensemble, e-mail Carmen Flórez-Mansi at cflorezmansi@santafesymphony.org or click here.
Will you consider supporting The Santa Fe Symphony’s community and education programs today? A donation of any size can help us make these programs available to aspiring young orchestral and choral musicians in more communities across New Mexico. Your gift will also support our expansive music education programs—reaching deeper into the community and fostering the extraordinary artistic talent of our future musicians. You can earmark your contribution for a specific community education program, or help support all of our community programs by becoming a Friend of Music Education.
