Meet the players!

THE SANTA FE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA

The power and beauty of live classical music.

Our musicians are the core of this organization—the ones who bring music to life.

Thank you for visiting our orchestral musicians “Adopt-a-Musician” page! At this time, all of our orchestral musicians are adopted. If you are interested in adopting a musician, please visit our choral musicians page where there are many choral musicians available for adoption!

Adoptions expire on a rolling basis. Come back and check in to see if any musician has become available or call Events & Annual Fund Manager, Laura Witte at 505-552-3916 to check availability.

Every time our musicians perform, we affirm our commitment to keeping live classical music alive in Santa Fe. Founded in 1984 with top-flight musicians whose resumes include outstanding conservatories and the world’s most esteemed orchestras, The Symphony performs under the baton of renowned conductor, violinist, and violist, Maestro Guillermo Figueroa. As the only professional symphony orchestra with chorus in Northern New Mexico, the Orchestra today includes 65 professional musicians, all New Mexico residents, and a volunteer chorus of over 70 singers led by Choral Director Carmen Flórez-Mansi.

Adopt-A-Musician

When you adopt a musician, you honor each instrumentalist and chorister’s exceptional dedication. Your adoption helps sustain high standards of professional support for our tenured orchestra members and outstanding singers. Your participation in our Adopt-A-Musician program includes an invitation to attend a chorus rehearsal and meet your selected singer in person. You will be photographed with your adopted chorister and appear in The Symphony Program Book on the Adopt-A-Musician page. An acknowledgement of your participation will also appear on The Santa Fe Symphony website.
