Sheila began her career at age 18 with the New Mexico Symphony Orchestra. She is currently a violinist with both the New Mexico Philharmonic and the Santa Fe Symphony. She has performed with Opera Southwest, Chamber Orchestra of Albuquerque, Musical Theatre Southwest, Flagstaff Symphony, Flagstaff Festival of the Arts, and the Phoenix, Roswell, San Juan and Las Cruces Symphonies. In addition to performing, she served The Santa Fe Symphony, the New Mexico Philharmonic, and the New Mexico Symphony as orchestra librarian. At the age of 60, Sheila got her Commercial Drivers License and spent 18 months team driving with her husband, Gene, in their trucking business. She also owns and manages a mobile home park in Albuquerque. Sheila has many interests beyond music. She loves animals of all kinds, especially her Pomeranians. She also enjoys flower gardening and recently spent a year on the mission field in Brazil and Mozambique, an experience she hopes to have again in the future.
