Jim has been an active choir singer since the seventh grade. His choral journey has taken him on national and international tours, singing with both large choruses and intimate chamber groups, in both sacred and secular settings. Highlights include Orff’s Carmina Burana under Andre Previn, and Stravinsky’s Symphony of Psalms with Michael Tilson Thomas. In addition to the SFSC, Jim sings with Church of the Holy Faith choir in Santa Fe, and has sung with Cantus Novus chamber choir and St. Paul’s Episcopal church in Bucks County, PA. An alumnus of The Pennsylvania State University, Jim and his wife split time between New Mexico and the Philadelphia area, where their grown children reside. Recently retired from a career in corporate training and consulting, Jim maintains a busy schedule involving guitar-playing, tennis, golf, writing, traveling, and most importantly, enjoying time with his grandchildren.
