In our virtual debut, The Santa Fe Symphony Orchestra, led by Maestro Guillermo Figueroa on violin, proudly presents the work Añoranza (Yearning), for string orchestra, by renowned Puerto Rican composer ERNESTO CORDERO. In celebration of our exciting 37th season, we are thrilled to present the world premiere of this beautiful work as a gift to our loyal patrons and supporters. Also featuring poetry by local New Mexican poet, Tani Arness, and a special introduction by Ernesto Cordero himself, Añoranza embodies a beautiful message of longing and hope during these unprecedented times.
