Caleb Heaton teaches choir at Santa Fe High School and is the team leader of the choral program in the Santa Fe Public Schools.

He has a Bachelor of Music from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. At Concordia College, he toured Germany and the Southwestern United States with the internationally acclaimed Concordia Choir.

After graduating in 2017, he moved to Santa Fe and started his teaching career at Ortiz Middle School. His baritone voice has been featured many times in recent years by Tri-M productions and The Santa Fe Symphony Chorus.

He has been nominated twice as “New and Up-and-Coming Teacher of the Year” by the North Central New Mexico Music Educators’ Association. He is an active member of NMACDA, ACDA, and NAfME and is vice president of choirs for the North Central New Mexico Music Educators’ Association.
