Toby Vigneau is a former double bass player with The Santa Fe Symphony Orchestra & Chorus. He has also performed with numerous ensembles in New Mexico, including Performance Santa Fe, Landmark Musicals, Chatter Varsity and Aspen Music Festival in the summer of 2018.

Son of The Symphony’s principal violist, Kim Fredenburgh, and oboist Kevin Vigneau, Toby was introduced to the violin and piano at age 5. Since the age of 10 he has been playing bass, studying with Frank Murray. He has also studied bass with Mark Tatum and Albert Laszlo.

In addition to classical music, Toby also plays jazz. When he is not practicing, he likes skiing, social media and following Boston sports teams.
