Susan Harris, Soprano

Psychotherapist Susan Harris has performed in choirs and as part of musical productions, appearing in musicals at the Dallas Theatre Center, Theatre3, and on many Little Theatre stages. She has also performed on stage with the Tulanians, as an ambassador for Tulane University.

She moved to Santa Fe in 2002 and has since immersed herself in what the city’s art scene has to offer. Because she loves classical music and opera, Susan spends her summer “on the hill,” taking in as many shows as she can at the Santa Fe Opera. The rest of the year, she devotes her talents to The Santa Fe Symphony Chorus. Singing Handel’s Messiah is a special moment in her calendar—she looks forward singing it at the Lensic every fall.

Outside of music, Susan enjoys yoga and gardening, hiking, and the many opportunities in the area for exploring history, culture, and the arts.
