Toby Vigneau is a double bass player with The Santa Fe Symphony Orchestra & Chorus. He has also performed with numerous ensembles in New Mexico, including Performance Santa Fe, Landmark Musicals, Chatter Varsity, and Aspen Music Festival in the summer of 2018. Son of The Symphony’s principal violist, Kim Fredenburgh, and oboist Kevin Vigneau, At age five, Toby was introduced to the violin and piano, and since the age of ten he has been playing bass—when he began studying with Frank Murray. He has also studied bass with Mark Tatum and Albert Laszlo.

In addition to classical music, Toby also plays jazz. When he is not practicing, he likes skiing, social media, and following Boston sports teams.
