
CHORAL PROJECT
The Choral Project provides uplifting ensemble experiences for beginner through advanced vocalists in both Santa Fe and Los Alamos. Students build their skills, confidence, and friendships as they explore choral repertoire in a supportive setting.

Kindermusik I
A playful, nurturing class where babies and their caregivers explore music through songs, movement, and sensory activities that support early development and bonding.
Ages/Experience: pre-walking babies

Kindermusik II
An interactive class where toddlers explore music through singing, movement, instruments, and play while building early language, motor, and social skills.

Los Alamos Children’s Chorus

Meet the Choral Project Instructors

Kat Keener
Santa Fe Children’s Chorus & Santa Fe Youth Chorus
Katherine Keener is a soprano contract singer with The Santa Fe Symphony Chorus. A Colorado native, Katherine graduated with honors from the University of Colorado with a degree in Music Education. While at the University of Colorado, Katherine studied voice with Dr. Patti Peterson and performed in several operas with CU’s Ecklund Opera. Since moving to Santa Fe in 2012, Katherine has performed with several choirs and is thrilled to have the opportunity to make music with Carmen Flórez-Mansi and The Symphony Chorus.
Katherine teaches Elementary Music and Choir at Acequia Madre Elementary School. She is also a mentor with Performance Santa Fe’s Sostenuto program, providing private voice instruction to students in the public schools.
