Our Free Concerts Project brings live classical music, choral masterworks, jazz, mariachi, and more to Santa Fe and Northern New Mexico, and beyond. Thousands of youth, families, and music lovers of all ages attend these free concerts and events each season, enjoying great music performed by musicians from The Santa Fe Symphony Orchestra & Chorus and The Santa Fe Youth Symphony—including students who are enrolled in our many Education & Community music ensembles—made possible through The Projects.

Blowing young minds

We introduce over 1,500 fifth graders
to the wonder of symphonic music through
our annual Discovery Concerts!
Area students travel by bus to the
Lensic Performing Arts Center
from Santa Fe, Pojoaque, Española, and
local Pueblos for a full classical concert.

Our popular Library Concerts feature Symphony musicians playing a variety of popular and classical music. A FREE, family-friendly series, our musicians demonstrate their instruments and interact with guests.

We’re “On the Road Again …”
Small combos make a big impression
on students across Northern New Mexico

Our Chamber Ensembles are introducing great music for small ensembles to students in towns and cities throughout Northern New Mexico. Performing works not heard at our Kids Classical Concerts, these programs showcase individual musicians in intimate settings performing music for just a handful of players.

In addition to performances at nine Santa Fe elementary schools, youngsters from a growing number of Northern New Mexico towns and Pueblos are now able to enjoy an hour of music, education, and fun! To get your school on the schedule, contact Callie Kent at

No rose-covered balcony required!

For seniors who aren’t able to attend concerts at The Lensic, we bring the music to you! Whether you or a loved one is in a retirement community, an assisted living facility, or any other location, we want to share the excitement of live music in our community.

SFS Jazz Series for Veterans

We are always proud to honor those who have served our country and their families, and nothing brings us more joy than to perform great music for those who need music. The SFS Jazz Project now brings a touch of jazz to residents at the Raymond G. Murphy Medical Center and the Santa Fe Vet Center!

Community Concerts at the Cathedral

Los Alamos Summer Concert Series
